1918 Aircraft being built.

Got to go over to the north side of Deer Valley to meet a man who is building a WWI 1918 Aircraft. The attention to detail is incredible as is the fact that it is a single person doing the entire build by himself.Posted by Picasa

My fish had a problem with his swim bladder.

He'd only lay on his side at the bottom of the tank and could not control his bouyancy. I clipped some styrofoam to his dorsal fin & used superglue. He's doing much much better...

Places I have been

Here's a bunch of 1. Friends, and 2. People who have worked for me at Equity Title.
(Ray-Me-Patrick-Sean P)
All of which have taught me plenty. I can honestly say it's been my pleasure to work with every one of them.

Not sure what kind of plane this is, Maybe an RV? But I love the business of the cockpit. This guy should never get lost with all those GPS Systems! I think if I were to have multiple GPS's they would all be the same kind. That way, at least you would probably use more of the features! Who could possibly know all the features on all those different types? Pretty cool looking though (for a guy who likes gadgets!)

Superbowl Sunday Winslow Flight

Kristina flew up to Winslow on Feb 4th. Turns out that the whole airport is not manned on Sundays. Note to self: No bathrooms...
The flight was beautiful over Sedona, & Flagstaff, plenty of Snow to see & the air was very stable & calm. This is the first time we ventured Northwest of Winslow & was plesantly suprised with beautiful buttes all over the place. Had we gone just a little bit farther we would have been in Monument Valley. Also we flew over Meteor crater, Always a beautiful thing to see from the air, and Kristina flew us home the whole way. It was a great way to spend superbowl Sunday & I certainly don't feel like I missed out on anything!

Mustang Update

The 06' Mustang is pretty much complete now. Looking good as ya can tell & has 500hp too tear up the streets. (not to mention my wallet)

Of course there's always more things that I will want to do & as time progresses I am sure so will the horespower numbers.

Our new house

For those that asked, here's what our new home looks like. Kristina and I have it looking pretty darn nice so far & really the only work left is to get the garage cleaned out so we can park in that huge garage!

My Cherokee in Wickenburg

This was taken up in Wickenburg right before Christmas 06' Just went over there to be in the air... Not like you can really find the proverbial $100 hamburger there, since there is no place to eat there at the airport.

Jeremy Zawodny's blog: Flying Archives: "A Barrel Roll while Pouring Iced Tea
posted at 07:17 AM | PermaLink | Comments (12)

I've heard rumors about a pilot who demonstrated that you can pour a drink in the cockpit while doing a barrel roll and not spill a drop. Thanks to the magic of YouTube and an email tip, I have finally seen the video.

Since a barrel roll is a positive G maneuver (properly executed), the story was always believable, but there's something about seeing it for myself that made me smile. :-)

Oh, the other high speed, power off, low flying antics in that video are quite entertaining too."

Well, my 2006 Mustang project is coming along nicely. I have been waiting now for over a Month to get my Kenne-Bell Supercharger & that's really starting to tick me off. Every time I call them they say it will be one more week. But the Cervini body kit has been going well & their service has been very good. They answer the phone & are very helpful when you call. My hood got damaged in shipping & I refused accepting it, they had a new one out to me before I even called & told them about it. That's great service in my book! Tomorrow, the Hood & Front bumper are going to be installed & that will complete the bodywork of this project. Then it's on with the supercharger, put a beefier clutch in & some fat tires out back. I will be posting photos as things get done.
